\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n Matt started coach painting for Tristar boats ltd in 2013 and quickly progressed through the ranks. In 2016 Matt decided to go out on his own and started Gibson boat painters from a Polly tunnel at Redhill marina. He quickly realised single part paints were not really the future so soon switched to 2 part top coats. Over the years he perfected techniques and changed to several different paint brands before coming back to Jotun. Using their full system of epoxy base coats and mega gloss ac topcoats. He had been helped massively to perfect the application by Kevin Lockwood formally of Marine Industrial (now of sml paints) and we still use the same system today. In 2019, Matt took over a large painting workshop based at Redhill Marina and began streamlining the business into what it is now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thomas started his journey into boat building and painting in 2014.
